About Rued Riis and Tallsome

Tallsome is a community for tall – focused on clothes, fitness and confidence.

My name is Rued, I’m Danish and the one hitting the keyboard on Tallsome.com. Tallsome came online for the first time in 2014, and since then, it has grown to become a significant tall-shop-hub within the niche of tall people’s clothing.

As the years went by, I saw how Tallsome grew in traffic and fans. It gave me the confidence to turn this “passion project” into a real liberator – liberating me from the “9-5” rat race who a lot of us would love to escape.

What Tallsome can become

I’m a huge fan of self-made entrepreneurs like Tom Bilyeu, Brendon Burchard and Tim Ferriss. These are the guys that I aspire to imitate and meet one day.

In order to realize such a big goal, I know I need to start small.

A single project, a solid strategy and a good amount of work. Although, I didn’t have that at the outset, with Tallsome, but I have that now, and the starting signal is sounded.

Through a fast and valuable source of inspiration for tall men and women, I’m gonna make Tallsome a go-to place, when tall guys and girls need new threads.

What’s the plan?

The clothing part of Tallsome is my main focus.

Why?

Because I’ve seen that the clothes is the “highway” on Tallsome – it’s where most visitors go and what most tall people are searching for.

It’s is a real pain to find something that 1) fits a tall body with longer limbs and different proportions and 2) that you like the design of, depending on your personal style.

Tallsome is a quality assured review site, where you can trust me in the recommendations, I put out.

The purpose of Tallsome

I want to create the go-to place for finding clothes, lifestyle products and other information on living a high life
I give you inspiration and help with navigating in the existing supply of lifestyle products for tall people
Together create a community for tall people from all over the world to share insights and joys of being tall

This means that I get a small referral fee from the stores, if you decide to buy something from them. This is a small thanks from the stores for me sending a person to their online store. These small payments are a cost only to the store, and it’s what makes the wheels go around at Tallsome – what keeps me able to work on the blog on a continuous basis.
